I was asked to design a logo for our cricket club (Nashville Cricket Club) .
Although i’m not a designer, i was able to get some touch on photoshp.
Let me know if you have any suggestion for improving the logo.

Nashville Cricket Club beats Memphis Cricket Association

admin Nashville Cricket CLub(NCC) had a new captain today, Zaheer lost the toss correctly and Memphis Cricket Association (MCA) decided to bat.
Zaheer and Naseer started the proceedings and kept MCA pegged. Naseer almost got the break through, but i think the umpire forgot the LBW rule. Zaheer and Naseer bowled with great control and they really put their cricketing mind well when they bowls.
I came as first change but didn’t do well in my first spell. Alam came next, and was unlucky to get a wicket but bowled beautifully and got rid of MCC Captain with Ryan taking a spectacular catch at square leg.
Ashan bowled with his usual thunder and brilliantly bowled. Our fielding was great, but we gave 30+ extras (mostly wide). I took 2 wickets and missed hatrick on my 5th over as MCA was bowled out 
Zaheer rotated his bowlers very well and kept MCA from scoring freely and wrapped them for measly 168 in 35 overs.
Alam and Naseer opened the innings for us, They had good partnership before Naseer got out, Neil followed. Alam started slowly but settled very quickly and scoreboard was ticking steadily. Alam got out, and it was me who followed – but before I could start playing my stroke freely. I was bowled (I know …double minded shot).
Sameer and Naseer built a good partnership keeping the field busy by scoring singles and doubles. Both played very sensibly with Zaheer holding one end and Sameer hitting the ball quite freely, 3 sixes and 5 fours were launched from the willow he wielded with exceptional panache , and ended up with 55 not out.
It feels refreshing to win in such convincing style, and addition of new members (Anant, Neil) to the team has given us the new wind we need to start.

The Nashville Cricket Club (NCC) was founded in 2002 for the purpose of promoting cricket in Nashville and its surrounding areas. We encourage, foster, and cultivate interest in the game of cricket as well as initiate and promote activities that further the development and advancement of cricket in Nashville. Here are our goals:
· Promote, encourage, foster and develop interest, knowledge and understanding of the game of cricket throughout Tennessee.
· Encourage and assist in promoting, administering and hosting cricket games between teams from
various states, regions, zones or areas of the United States of America and elsewhere.
· Encourage and develop the highest standard of sportsmanship in all NCC cricket games.
· Development of youth cricket with in Nashville and surrounding areas.
· Establish and develop venues where local cricket can be played.
· Participate in one community service project per quarter to teach youth members the value of serving ones community.
· Promote diversity by welcoming members from all ethnic and religious backgrounds, and foster an
environment of appreciation and respect for the diversity of members.
